(광주=브레이크뉴스) 이학수 기자=광주시 남구는 관내에 있는 종합사회복지관 3곳을 중심으로 관내 17개동 주민에게 다양한 복지 서비스를 제공하는 ‘지역밀착형 히어로 복지관’ 사업을 선보인다.

김병내 구청장과 종합사회복지관 관계자 등 100여명이 참석해 성황을 이뤘으며, 소외지역 주민의 복지 향상을 위한 히어로(hero) 복지관 사업은 참석자 사이에서 큰 반향과 관심을 모았다.

첫걸음을 내디딘 히어로 복지관은 민‧관 복지 플랫폼을 연계한 지역밀착형 사회안전망 장치로, 종합사회복지관이 없는 동네에서 해당 지역 주민들의 눈높이에 맞춘 종합 복지 서비스 제공을 목표로 한다.

종합사회복지관별 주요 특화 사업으로는 어르신 영양식 지원과 은둔형 청년 고립가구 지원, 달빛 어린 마을 지원, 중장년 남성 1인가구 자립 지원, 1‧3세대 교류 프로그램 사업 등이다.

이와 함께 종합사회복지관 3곳의 통합사업으로 희망복지 다잇소와 히어로 이동복지상담소를 공동 운영해 히어로 복지관 사업의 파급효과를 극대화할 예정이다.

남구 관계자는 “그동안에는 복지관이 위치한 장소를 중심으로 서비스가 제공됐기 때문에 접근성이 떨어지는 지역 주민들은 상대적 박탈감을 느꼈다”면서 “히어로 복지관은 이러한 문제를 해소하고, 지역 기반 복지 서비스 전달 체계를 개편하는 계기가 될 것이다”고 밝혔다.
